Mess Hall is an open-call culinary journal based on personal narratives. We collect short stories, anecdotes, recipes, and images – all on the food that has shaped you as a person.
Our inaugural issue, Hometown, is about the meals and produce we love, how food can define our family history, sustain our communities and cities, and in some way make us who we are.
In addition to our journal, Mess Hall provides event consultation – from food to floral – and CURATES an online marketplace for vintage tableware, handmade artist collaborations, and custom blends of teas and spices.
If you’re seeking services or would like to collaborate, please reach out to us.
