Mess Hall is a culinary journal based on personal narratives. It's a collection of recipes, meals, simple ingredients, cravings, hunts or gathers. Think if The Moth had a cookbook. Our inaugural issue, Hometown, is about the meals and produce we love, how food can define our family history, sustain our communities and cities, and in some way make us who we are.
